Wouldn't you know it! A week after The Book leaves the warehouse, I find a mistake in the very first figure! I'll never criticise another book EVER again. Ok, I'll criticise the book but not the author(s).

Thankfully there's an errata page; not that I've ever visited one for a book that I've bought mind you but still, it's somewhat comforting to know.

What's particularly amusing is that the first error submitted was by me, a co-author LOL.

I'm the one with the big body, small head and pointy ears looking like I just sucked on a lemon. I'm not particularly photogenic at the best of times and out of a few dozen pics to choose from, the publishers decided on that one! Egads!

Gotta laugh about it though hehehe.

Congrats on the book simon. Trust me, on a scale of average attractiveness for people on WROX book covers, you are ricky martin.

(which is attractive, I am not so much a fan of him, but I recognise that he is attractive).

FWIW, the error is in the order-of-magnitude for one of the lines in Figure 1-1. The straight horizontal line is incorrectly labelled as O(N); it should be O(1).
