Hej Sweden (and Norway)

Listen to this articleListen to this article

I'll be in Oslo from the 16th until the 19th of May then in Arvika from the 19th until the 22nd and finally Stokholm from the 1st of June until the 7th of June, visiting parts unknown in between so if anyone wants to meet up for a beer and Surstromming (NOT!), that'd be cool. I'll be doing some work-related stuff as well as attending a few Aikido seminars. Any recommendations? Places to visit? Things to see? Hotels, Motels, Hostels to stay at (or avoid)?

Hi,
I saw your blogpost about comming to Sweden. As of yet there is not a very large RoR-community in Sweden, but there are a handful who have started. I am one of them, one of the newbies. But I a really enthusiastic about Rails.

Would you have time to come to meet and talk a bit about Ruby on Rails? If so, I could try to gather email adresses and put out some buzz to attract some fellows to come.

As of yet there has been no training, or Evangelizing event for RoR in Sweden. I would be great if we could organize something. But time is maybe to short...

Maybe you would be interested in meeting up with the guys from rails.se? We have just had a rails recipes meeting and it would be great to hear more about your rails experience in a future session.

Hi Simon!
Indeed, if you are interested in meeting up with Rails people in Stockholm and maybe even holding a presentation this would be much appreciated. Here is what our first meetup was like: http://marklunds.com/articles/one/302

Get in touch with me if you're interested.

Cheers

Peter
